How do I delete unwanted iWatch app?
Apple does it again. Installed iWatch app without my permission during upgrade to iOS8.2. Didn't they learn from the last debacle with the unwanted music album? How do I get rid of it?

I COMPLETELY agree Sam. I called APPLE and the poor customer service rep was incredibly apologetic but could not help me delete the app. He did say that we should be able to delete after April 24th. Otherwise, I think we've got about 2 weeks to wait. Hope this helps! 🙂

The Apple Watch will be released on April 24th. It makes no sense that on that date, you'd be able to delete the app that pairs the watch to the phone.

Did someone mention a free pencil, where's mine?

II thought it was an odd give away for a high tech company. And, of course, I don't own a pencil sharpener.

Rubbish.
Pete
Ahh, I always imagined that an Apple pencil would be self sharpening. 😟
I don't mind so much that they put an app on my phone with its precious storage space. Perhaps it is something new that I might enjoy. I do, however, mind that I am forced to keep it. Thank you for the original post. I hope a future update will allow us to remove the apps we find useless for ourselves.
Yes, I only want the Phone App. All others should be removable. Unfortunately iOS belongs to Apple and we just use it under license.
Pete
if you restart your phone(turn it off) this will reset and will need to do it again. Before i say how its done i find it funny that some people on here have had iphones for years and yet i have mine first iphone for 3 months and this took me ten mins to work out.
unlock your phone and the first screen you see we will call page one. first make sure each space has something in it like a folder or app. But make sure that down the bottom you have one app on its own and not in a folder. move everything you want to get rid of to page two. Your page one screen must be full for this to work. Hold down on app u wanna get rid of on page two then move it over to page one and put it in a folder with an app on its own at the bottom of the screen. Once its in a folder you then need to move it down(the divide down the bottom where you can have 4 apps and theres a line seperating them) and put it on that line in the middle of the four apps And just let it go and it shud just dissapeear. And if done right hey presto app has gone. Its not deleted as such but means its no longer viewable so u dont need a folder called crap as it doesnt it appear on the phone.
But it's still there? Taking up space? How does this help?
Pete
I explaned this in last sentance. If like me you have alot of apps then having a folder sat there full of junk that you dont use can be really annoying. it just means they are no longer viewable. I know its not actully deleteing them but its a simple soultion if u dont wanna see crap all over your phone. I thought i would be helpful unlike most the people i see on here.
It has been mentioned about a hundred times in these forums, but thanks for repeating it.
Pete
if its been explained a hundred times already then did why did you have to ask
But it's still there? Taking up space? How does this help?
cleary it hasnt been posted a hundred times as i see no mention of it by anyone. If you know about it why not mention it.
Why you guys feel the need to try and put people down when they ask for help is beyond me.
Try reading the very first reply in this thread. Then look at 'More Like This' link below. You will find out how late you were with your reply. But thanks for the afterthought and best wishes.

The only things on the iphone that should be permanent are the systems REQUIRED for the phone to function properly....
So you want everything but the dialing software to be removed? Seems as if you might be better off with a basic phone.
Why didn't you copy and paste the part of his sentence that said "should be removable"?
