How do I delete unwanted iWatch app?
Apple does it again. Installed iWatch app without my permission during upgrade to iOS8.2. Didn't they learn from the last debacle with the unwanted music album? How do I get rid of it?
iPhone 6, iOS 8.2

There has never been an option to remove parts of the IOS system. I doubt that there ever will be either.
That is why there should be an option to Hide the app as does BB,Windows and Driods all have the ability to. If the day comes when I need to take advantage of the app I can then unhide it as would be the case for all other users.
Please no one reply back "Then use one of those phones".
I like the idea of just offering the option to download these "wonderful" apps as they did in the past for Numbers,Pages and Keynote.
Already did

With the health app I felt the same way as I do about Pages, Numbers, Keynote, Garage Band, etc.
You can remove Pages, Numbers, Keynote, Garage Band, iPhoto, iMovie and Apple Store. In fact, they don't even come installed. You must install them after activating the iOS device if you want them.
It is very simple to 'hide' the apps you don't use. Put them in a folder and put that folder on the last page of your apps. Out of Sight, out of mind. This way, they will still be there if you should ever want to use them in the future.
sorry. This was a bad example.
This is how the other apps should be offered
that is a band-aid solution
You have 2 choices:
That's it. No other choices. No point in discussing it further.
Thanks 🙂

To update your phone, or your Mac OS X? There's a very critical security update for both OS X and iOS that patches a vulnerability: https://freakattack.com/
