storage issues iphone 6

My Iphone 6 says my storage is now full. It was at 10.3 GB but with no additional apps downloaded it has jumped to 12.2GB, and even after deleting photos and videos it remains at 12.2GB now. There seems to be something else taking up space but its not listed in the manage storage list.

Anyone know what might be causing my memory to be full?

I have been getting the same message and been deleting photos and other stuff (voice mails take up space). I went to my Camera and checked my Albums in case I missed something. There is a Album called "Deleted photos" and I had over 800 photos still on my phone which I thought were gone! Well I deleted them and my memory now shows 5 gigs FREE! Hope this helps anyone with the problem.

I think you need restore your iPhone via iTunes. I had the same problem before. But after restoring iPhone via iTunes, everything goes well.

Get your device ready

  1. Check that you have the latest version of iTunes on your Mac or PC.
  2. If you want to save the information on your device, make a backup.
  3. Go to Settings > iCloud. Turn off Find My iPhone.

Restore your device to factory settings

  1. Open iTunes on your Mac or PC.
  2. Connect your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to your computer with the cable that came with your device.
  3. If a message asks for your device passcode or to Trust This Computer, follow the onscreen steps. If you forgot your passcode, get help.
  4. Select your iPhone, iPad, or iPod when it appears in iTunes.
  5. In the Summary panel, click Restore [device].

  6. Click Restore again to confirm. Then iTunes erases your device and installs the latest iOS or iPod software.

  7. After your device restores to factory settings, it restarts. Now you can set it up as new.

I am facing the exact same issue with my iPhone 6 Plus. After deleting lots of old videos and photos plus apps i really don't use i had about 5GB freed and after +-20mins while on whatsapp it started prompting low storage again... which i found impossibe that so much space had been taken up again... so i went to Manage Storage it says used 55.2 GB BUT when i add up the used space per app it DOES NOT add up to 55.2 GB.

I hope this gets fixed ASAP. Thanks
