Apple ID status code error/ wifi: time out

Tech Support had me go to apple dot com to sign in using my normal id and password. It did work; which verified there is nothing wrong with my ID. It is definitely the Apple server problem for at least the Ap Store, and judging from this comment string, other related aps.

I realize that this problem began for me when I had to update iOS on my iPhone 6 to iOS 8.2 which followed the Tim Cook introduction of the Apple watch. After update a new app appeared on my iPhone desktop which of course I am unable to delete. The nightmare began with being unable to make in-app purchases when playing my favorite mobile game. I am still having glitches occur with the iPhone and am unable to make any in-app purchases. Today when using my MacBook Pro 17" running OS X Yosemite 10.10.2 for the first time since update I now can't update apps on my laptop and am also getting STATUS_CODE_ERROR message when I try to login to App Store and the iTunes Store. I haven't checked my iPad Air 2 but did an update to newest iOS on it early this am but imagine the glitches will also be there too.

Long story short every device has been affected by this recent update and I pray Apple solves this issue asap. I've used Apple product for over 25 years and this never has occurred before with such wide spread implications on every device I own.

I know there are some pretty amazing tech geeks who may read this and have already jumped ahead of Apple with a work-around. Would love to hear your feedback.

I have the same problem in Portugal.

I tried several times today and get always the same message "STATUS_CODE_ERROR" and now, there's a blank page saying:

"Http/1.1 Service Unavailable"

or:

"Internal Server Error - Read

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Reference #3.13f04f17....".

Then I select "Purchases" and did the update from there.

There is a button "update" in front of the app.

Although the tab "Updates" doesn't work, my main problem is solved for now. I hope this help you too.

Hi, I had the same problem.. and I tried everything... (I had the problem on my mac and Iphone) and finally.......I went to my iphone and on: Settings --- scroll to "iCloud" --- and click on your account and sign in with your password... and after that... I was able to log in to my App Id ... on Itunes, App Store on my iphone and Mac... its seems to be an issue between App Store and iCloud. ..... for my it works... ;o)

I have been experiencing this problem too.

Try force quitting and reopening the program, as it worked mine.

Has happened to me since the latest Security Update 2015 - 002?

Since, yes, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's related. It's just the same on my Snow Leopard Mac which hasn't been updated in any way recently.

Just looked again and the iMovie update is downloading, if a little slowly.
