iMovie theater error message "cannot connect to iMovie theater. there may be a problem with iCloud or your internet connection. try again later"...nothing wrong with my iCloud or internet connection. Please help?

I Have exactly the same problem. Everything else works fine on AppleTV except this feature. as I am close to my iCloud capacity limit I was going to purchase more storage But now I have doubts as I can no longer share all my home videos on our bigscreen via apple tv

I have the same issue, two Apple TVs in the house, wifi or hardwired. iMac, iPhones and iPads are ok

I have exactly the same problem with my Apple TV not accessing iMovie Theatre. The error message is: 'Cannot connect to iMovie Theater' ' there may be a problem with iCloud or your internet connection. 'Try again later'.

I have no issues with this on my iMac, or iPad/iPhone.

There are no issues with my network/internet connection as I can stream videos on Apple TV from You Tube/Vimeo.

My Apple TV is Part Number MD199B/A, OS Build Version 8.3(12F69), Apple TV Software 7.2 (7512).

is this the right place to get help with this or should we be contacting Apple direct? Nothing much seems to happen here.

I just finished talking to Apple tech support and they informed me of a limitation of 51 movies above which you cant see your movies anymore. It's a RAM issue.

Disappointing to say the least, as I subscribed to 500 GB of icloud drive to store all my family movies!

I ve had this problem too notice you said the limitation of movies was 51 so reduced my movies on iCloud to 48 and i can now watch iMovie theatre through apple tv.

Did apple support say whether they would be increasing the movie limitation anytime soon? Such a bummer to hear that there is a limit...Thanks!

I have spoken to Apple support they are unaware that there is a limitation on how many videos you can store on iMovie theatre to be able to watch on apple tv so they are going to contact their tech department and get back to me in couple of days will keep you posted if i have any news.

My issue self resolved. Nothing to do with capacity issues, I only had 4 x 20 second movies in Theatre.

The standard error message is a 'catch all' that is not at all helpful in pinning down the true issue.

I think it is just a very flaky Apple TV communications protocol.

Have has 51 video limit for about 3 months now. Just purchased new 4th gen apple tv with 64 go. Have exact same problem. Tried loading just one more video, no good. Very frustrating. If this is truly a ram issue, doesn't the new Apple TV have significantly more ram?
