Why are my JPEG attachments, sent from a MAC tower, being received as MIME attachments on an iPAD? We are using OUTLOOK as the email program on both ends.

Please describe what doesn't work. What are you expecting.
All attachments are sent as MIME attachments. That how email works.
I am expecting the recipient to receive a JPEG if I send a JPEG. I understand that MIME is used whenever you send an attachment. My question is how do you resolve the issue of it NOT showing up as a JPEG, PNG or PDF to the recipient of the email. You can't open a MIME attachment, thus, rendering the email and file/image you sent useless. It seems to be happening when we are sending files from MAC computers, using Outlook, across a PC server to the recipient using an iPad or sometimes an iPhone.
Yes, this problem still exists. it must be some incompatibility with Macs and Outlook, and the way IOS reads files. It's always been an issue, and since Apple and Microsoft are not the best of friends, it will likely never be fixed, A jpg file turns into an unreadable mime attachment even if "download full message" is clicked. It may more likely be a problem with IOS, since another computer gets the jpg.
