How to delete ALL Logic Pro Files?

I just downloaded Logic Pro on my new Macbook Pro. I wanted to store all the additional content on an external drive so it wouldn't fill up my new Macbook. I watched some confusing instructional video on how to download the additional content directly to the external drive, and ended up with all 40-something GB downloaded to my internal memory. I tried starting all over by deleting Logic and all files associated with it, but ended up clearing only about 6GB from the internal memory. Where the heck did all those files go? I think I lost somewhere around 30 or 40 gigabytes, and I really, really want them back.

I hope that made sense.

Let everything download to its default location first, then move the content and either alias folders back to the default location or make sym links. So don't delete anything once it has all downloaded. A good guide is here:

Look in library/audio/apple loops. Most of it will be there.

I did that, but that's not where the files were being stored. I actually just figured it out myself—there was a folder hidden deep in the /Macintosh HD/private folder where all the Logic files were being stored for some strange reason. I deleted it, and it solved my problem. Thanks for the replies though.
