Fine Scratches on touch id home button?
I have a 64 GB Gold iphone 6, bought exactly 2 months ago today. i am very OCD about keeping my phone in mint condition, however i have started noticing very small, faint scratches on my touch ID home button, they are only visible if i hold my phone under a certain angle under light, but i thought the home button was meant to be scratch resistant as scratching can impair performance of touch id. At first i thought they were marks, so i wiped it with a microfibre cloth, but they didnt go away 😟 My touch iD is still working fine, i have no idea how this happened, i never mix my phone with keys, coins, or anything! i normally carry it in the pocket of my school blazer or in a seperate pocket of my hand bag. it is also in a flip wallet case where the screen is covered when not in use. Is any one else noticing this? could my iphone be faulty? Should i take it back? 😟 I live in NZ, i do not have an apple store in my city, but i bought my phone from an authorized apple reseller (JB HI FI) please give me advice, thanks.
