Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I have prepared a photo book using iPhoto v9.6 and when I click to buy the book I receive this message "An error occurred while contacting the Apple Online Store. Please try again". I kept trying but no joy.
I have tried rebooting the computer and the router but to no avail. Any suggestions? Is this connected to Apples recent accessing issues?
iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2), iPhoto 11 v.9.4.2

I have previously bought many books from the Apple Store and never had this problem. I have experimented by creating a small book of just a few pages and then tried to buy it - same error message.

have you checked your payment information for your appleID? Sometimes this problem occurs, when you need to update the expiration date of your Credit Card.are you able to buy a dream from the iTunes Store?
Check your settings at the Apple Store:
Click the link to your account (to the left of the shooting Cart). Enter all information again, not just check it - there may be invisible character. Make sure, that Express Checkout is enabled.
Thanks for your prompt reply - the payment information is up to date. Only last week I managed to buy another photo book without a problem.....!
