I am going to upgrade my phone but I forgot my Yahoo mail password and the secondary email to change my password is no longer accessible. Is there a way to view the password I have saved on my phone now?If I change my phone I will no longer be able to access my email.

Did you have passwords and autofill enabled? If you did, try looking there.
I'm unable to do that, thus the question. My secondary email to change my password is no longer accessible so I can't change the password. I'm trying to view the saved password in the settings.
Thanks for the replies. I figured there wasn't a way, just hoping! It's my wife's phone and I have no idea she got into this mess. If the iPhone 5 is backed up, when I retore her iPhone 6, will the password transfer?

I may be biased, because I have the same problem, but I think vbrechbill's question is completely reasonable. If you paid closer attention to his question, you would realize that his problem is with yahoo mail, not a website, therefor the password is probably not stored in the Safari keychain, but somewhere by the mail app.
So the question becomes, "Is there a way to view the stored email passwords of the iPhone mail app?"
A simple solution involving only looking on the iPhone is preferable to trying to jump through password changing hoops given the constraints of vbrechbill's predicament. So, if you know the answer to this, it should be straight-forward, no need for unhelpful condescending remarks.
II'm not asking a yahoo question. I'm trying to find a way to view my password on my iPhone. In Settings, the password is saved but is dots. I'm trying to find a way to view that bc otherwise when I get my new iPhone 6, I will not be able to access the account.
Are you trying to tell me that Yahoo will not allow you to change your password? If that is true you can no longer use the email address. But I doubt that is true.

You are. You have already been told what you need to do. Ergo, you cannot "view" your password on the iPhone. If you could, it wouldn't be very secure, would it? You have a problem with resetting your password on Yahoo mail. You will need to take up the problem with them. There is nothing more to do here. Whether or not you decide to do so, it is up to you.

On the same screen, select Safari>Passwords & Auto-Fill. Find the yahoo website within the list, and select it.
If you use a Password to lock your phone, you'll be prompted to enter it prior to accessing your password. Otherwise, it should bring you to the next screen which will list the yahoo url under website name, your user name and password.
Assuming iCloud Keychain was ON. And that the OP logged in to Yahoo Mail at some point in time via the web interface either on an iOS device or on a Mac using Safari (don't know if Safari on Win supports Keychain) and subsequently accepted the "save Password in Keychain option". iOS App passwords are NOT stored in the iCloud Keychain.
I only suggested this as an afterthought; whether it will work it is up to whether the OP followed the steps outined above.
In the end, Keychain will not allow the OP to "uncover" the dots; which is what he is trying to do.
It think it ***will***. But to be frank, I really have not given it much thought when I restore from backups on a new phone.
Again your best bet is to contact Yahoo support/account security. I'm sure they will be able to sort it out for you.

You need to go to Settings>> Safari>> Scroll to General>>Passwords & Autofill>>Scroll down to the yahoo website. Click on it and then enter your iPhone passcode.
Again, as I have stated before: you will only be able to see the password if the user selected the autofill option when first logging in to the Yahoo website on Safari via the web interface.
Sorry. You have to back out one screen. Before you do that, ensure Keychain is set to "On". As I said above, select Settings, then iCloud>Keychain>On.

Your an idiot post ****. They explained in their first post that you can't log into Yahoo if you don't have your secondary info. Yahoo tells you to our out of luck. It's a last resort to check here on Apple because of cached credentials but of course the Apple crowd is an **** crowd.... Judging by these responses.
