Bluetooth not working macbook pro 2011, AHT found nothing

My macbook pro 2011 has been having some issues with bluetooth. The system doesn't even recognize as having bluetooth hardware. I went under the hardware profile and it actually says No information found under bluetooth. I was able to do a full hour diagnostic test using Apple Hardware Test and everything was all clean. I'm not sure if this is Yosemite related or not. I definitely remember using my bluetooth enabled keyboard and mouse on my system before I upgraded to Yosemite. Wifi works fine. I've tried resetting PRAM, but nothing. I'm at a loss, not sure if there is anything else I can do.

Yes, I have tried that. and it didn't do anything. I have also tried: http://www.igeeksblog.com/fix-bluetooth-not-available-error-mac/

Perhaps I should just replace the bluetooth card?

Make a "Genius" a ppointment at an Apple Store, or go to another authorized service provider. You may have to leave the machine there for several days.

Back up all data on the internal drive(s) before you hand over your computer to anyone. There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional—ask if you need guidance.

If privacy is a concern, erase the data partition(s) with the option to write zeros* (do this only if you have at least two complete, independent backups, and you know how to restore to an empty drive from any of them.) Don’t erase the recovery partition, if present.

Apple also recommends that you deauthorize a device in the iTunes Store before having it serviced.

*An SSD doesn't need to be zeroed.
