How to syn two iPods on iTunes

I have a new iPod Nano (7) that is syned to my iTunes (12.1.0.50). I would like to also syn an iPod Suffle (2). Can it be done? If so how?

Mac mini, OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)

Yes, just create one or more playlists that contain the media you want to be on each iPod, and configure each of them to sync to these playlists, as in this example:

  1. With each iPod connected, make sure this option is selected ... you see this screen when you select the iPod and then the Music entry from the list on the left side of the screen.
  2. Select the playlist(s) to be associated with this iPod - you'll see here that I have separate playlists defined for each of three iPods (8Gb 2nd gen, 4Gb 3rd gen, 16Gb 7th gen).


Then click Apply at the bottom of the screen. Once you've set this up you can then manage the contents of these playlists in iTunes and the iPods will be correctly updated when you connect and sync them. If you have other media types (audiobooks, podcasts, etc.) you'll need to repeat these configuration steps having selected the appropriate entry from the list on the left of the iTunes screen.
