iOS 8.2 music app displaying wrong artist for songs

I've been very unhappy with iOS 8.2. After updating my iPhone 6 to 8.2, I noticed a problem in the music app. Some of my songs have the wrong artist name displayed. In some cases, all of the songs by an artist display the wrong name. For example I have songs by the artist Wings. On one of their albums, They went under another name for a couple of songs, The Country Hams, and I have the album artist listed as Wings. But, after the update, all of the songs by Wings on every album have the artist name as The Country Hams, even though that name is used on only 2 songs on one album. When I search by artist in the app, Wings is no longer listed as an artist. When I go to The Country Hams, all of the songs by Wings are listed under that name. A similar problem occurs with other artists as well, whether the songs are purchased or not. Nothing I did would fix the problem. I tried changing the tags in iTunes, re-syncing, and restoring the phone. Nothing. I synced the songs to my iPod, and the information was correct, so I know the problem is not with my iTunes Library or the tags. Eventually, I succumbed to downgrading back iOS 8.1.3, and restoring the phone. Everything's back to normal. The problem is 8.2. I hope this is fixed with the next update, otherwise I'll just have to stay with 8.1.3. This is very frustrating.

What's strange is that I just tried to sync my songs from my computer to my iPod Nano 3rd Gen, and my iPod is having NO issues. I also upgraded to iOS 8.3 thinking it would fix this iTunes issue, but clearly it hasn't.

I've had the exact same problem. It lists all my Kanye West songs as "Kanye West and Lil Wayne". I can only hope that Apple is aware of this and is trying to fix this as fast as possible.

I may have found a fix for this. In iTunes on the sync page, uncheck "Sync Music" and then hit sync. All music will be removed from the device. Once that is done, check the box again and hit sync. All artist names should go back to normal. It worked for me.

This did NOT work for me. I Manually manage Music and Movies without using Sync, so I actually wiped the phone clean, and used that Sync method, and that didn't work. I then unchecked that and went back to manually dragging music on, and it still didn't work.

I'm having the same problem for a particular artist.

Only two songs found within a few albums by "2NE1" should display the artist name as "CL of 2NE1", however when syncing to my iPhone 5S under iOS 8.3, most of the songs are now recently listed under the artist "CL of 2NE1" instead of simply "2NE1".

I now have a fix! Simply, change the album art of the album that has the wrong the artist listing and then hit sync. That should do the job.

I'm having the EXACT same problem. Every song on my iPhone 5s by Avicii is shown as being by Avicii & Nicky Romero, even though only one of the songs is a collaboration. "I Could Be The One" is the only song by both of them, but unfortunately it says it's both of them on every song.

Im having this problem too, its extremely annoying, Every song i have by Justin Bieber says that its by Justin Bieber & Mariah Carey when the only song they made together was All I Want For Christmas Is You on only one album, and all songs by Justin on another 4 albums are by Justin Bieber & Mariah Carey, really hoping the next update fixes this and quickly...
