iOS 8.2 music app displaying wrong artist for songs

I've been very unhappy with iOS 8.2. After updating my iPhone 6 to 8.2, I noticed a problem in the music app. Some of my songs have the wrong artist name displayed. In some cases, all of the songs by an artist display the wrong name. For example I have songs by the artist Wings. On one of their albums, They went under another name for a couple of songs, The Country Hams, and I have the album artist listed as Wings. But, after the update, all of the songs by Wings on every album have the artist name as The Country Hams, even though that name is used on only 2 songs on one album. When I search by artist in the app, Wings is no longer listed as an artist. When I go to The Country Hams, all of the songs by Wings are listed under that name. A similar problem occurs with other artists as well, whether the songs are purchased or not. Nothing I did would fix the problem. I tried changing the tags in iTunes, re-syncing, and restoring the phone. Nothing. I synced the songs to my iPod, and the information was correct, so I know the problem is not with my iTunes Library or the tags. Eventually, I succumbed to downgrading back iOS 8.1.3, and restoring the phone. Everything's back to normal. The problem is 8.2. I hope this is fixed with the next update, otherwise I'll just have to stay with 8.1.3. This is very frustrating.

Yes, I knew this method worked, but with over 7800 songs, and with ACC versions getting put into the same folder as the originals, it would no joke take me a week to completely overhaul and reorganize my library. This is a good fix for people with small libraries, but this shouldn't even need to be done. We are over a month with this problem and it still isn't fixed despite apple be made aware of it.

This worked for me: Uncheck "sync music" on computer and SYNC so that all music is deleted from iPhone. Then close Music App and iTunes App on both computer and iPhone (I have iPhone 6 with 8.2). THEN restart BOTH computer and phone. Make sure MUSIC app is closed after restarting. Connect iPhone to computer, check "sync music" (might want to uncheck and check your playlists, just to be thorough) and SYNC again. After several tries doing only one or two of these steps, this one worked for me.

Yep. Same problem. I noticed this with the 8.3 upgrade. I have an old iPhone 4 running 7.1.2 and with the very same song files it does not have this problem.

I have 40-something albums by Pat Metheny. All of them show up under "Pat Metheny" in iTunes on my laptop. On the iPhone 6 here's what it looks like. Hilarious! That first photo listed for "Pat Metheny" is not even Pat Metheny at all!

Once again, all is fine on my old iPhone 4. What incompetence from the company that brought you the iPod. Seriously, how difficult can it be to read the information in a list and display it in alphabetical order? Whoever wrote this software would flunk out of first year programming, much less first year English.

I have 255 songs. Out of those songs, only 6 of them are displaying wrong. I have iPhone 5C, iOS 8.3 Why is though that when I download songs from iTunes on computer to my iPod that I get no issues? My issue with the 6 songs are this.

This is what SHOULD appear on my iPhone.

1. Bailando por el Mundo (Juan Magan, El Cata & Pitbull) The King Of Dance (Bonus Track Version)
2. Como Yo (Juan Magan & Buxxi) The King Of Dance (Bonus Track Version)
3. Danza Kuduro (feat.Lucenzo) (Don Omar & Lucenzo) Meet The Orphans (Deluxe Edition)
4. No Sigue Modas a.k.A Ella No Sigue Modas (Don Omar & Juan Magan) Don Omar Presents MTO2-New Generation
5. Nota de Amor (feat. Daddy Yankee) Wisin & Carlos Vives Nota de Amor (feat. Daddy Yankee)-Single
6. Time of Our Lives (Pitbull & Ne-Yo) Globalization

See image below:

Ne-Yo's name is missing!

Since this screenshot, I did download 16 more songs, and I checked and all 16 songs appear fine. Maybe it's just random songs that have these issues?
