extension cable for 30'' Cinema display?

we recently bought a 30'' cinema display, which will be put in an electrically shielded room for our research. The problem is the cable provided to us is not long enough, as the computer and the power adaptor has to be outside the room. We thought about getting a DVI extension cable 'cause we don't really need the USB and firewire ports, but we also need to get an extension cable for the DC side of the power adaptor... So I am wondering where we can get an longer cable for our beautiful display, or where we can find an extension cable for the power adaptor.
Any information on this is greatly appreciated, thanks!

If you are really serious about electrical shielding in the room you may want to consider a fibre-optic DVI link

For the DC power, if you can't find a matching connector, just cut the cable and use your own connectors and wire to make an extension. Presumably, you have to run the wires through a filter where they enter the shielded room, so a ready-made extension cable wouldn't be enough, anyway.

Have you checked for electrical radiation from the display itself? It may need some metal mesh in front of the screen, attached to the metal case all around.
