No content was found in this library

When I go into the Computers section of the main menu on Apple TV, I get the message, "No content was found in this library." I have home sharing on for both Apple TV and my MacBook and they are both connected to the same network. My firewall settings are such that they should not interfere as well. The weird part is that my content shows up under TV Shows and Music. So I have two questions. One, why is my MacBook not showing up under Computers (and how do I make that happen)? And two, does it really matter as long as my content is available for me? Thanks!

Thanks, Alex. I've already been through the troubleshooting steps. Twice. That's one of the things that is frustrating about this, as usually whatever process that is detailed from Apple support is usually successful. I may go ahead and take it from the top once more, just to be sure. But really, it does seem to be functional, so after that I may just let it be. Thanks again.

It may be that iTunes on your Mac is pointing to the wrong library. Hold down the option key and open iTunes. You'll be prompted to create or select a library. Click select library and see if there is more than one library. If so pick the other one and see if that works. It fixed my issue. I had accidentally created a second library and that became the default library.
