My emails from my sister are going into the junk mail folder instead of the inbox on my ipad

This is called a "False Positive" by the iCloud Junk Mail system -

I can find 2 solutions...

First, from > iCloud: Manage junk mail

Indicate that an email message isn’t junk

1. Click the Junk folder in the sidebar.
2. Select a message, then click the Not Junk button in the top right of the message window.

The message is moved to your Inbox. Subsequent email messages from the same sender are no longer automatically marked as junk.

AND this, make your sender a VIP (?) - untested and I cannot test - from > http://help.apple.com/ipad/8/#/iPad99a3ee0b

Gather important messages. Add important people to your VIP list, so all their messages appear in the VIP mailbox. Tap the sender’s name in a message, then tap Add to VIP. To change how notifications appear, go to Settings > Notifications > Mail > VIP.

What color are they, normal, or brown.

As a long time Mail user, I am finding that there is a big problem suddenly with Mail sending emails from not only my contacts to Junk but even my VIPs!

This is a new problem, maybe the last two months, and it is coupled with the fact that there is NO MORE "NOT JUNK" BUTTONS!!!!

I checked in Mail preferences, and my settings are all the same as usual.

Im sure its very frustrating for Csound1 as this is a new problem with Mail, with no obvious way to fix it on our side...!

On an iPad there is no Not Junk button. Go to the junk folder. Tap edit. Tap the erroneous junk mail. Tap move. Tap Inbox.

Thanks bobseufer, I am on a macbook air. No Not Junk button here either... it just disappeared... and also I dont feel like I have to go search for my VIP or contact emails in my junk mailbox...there is a serious flaw here!
