Can I use the iPhone 6+ hotspot with a Samsung Galaxy tablet?

I just wanted to make sure this works. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition (WiFi Only version), and I'm planning to upgrade to either the iPhone 6+ or the Galaxy Note 4. I'm still weighing out pros and cons to both, but I wanted to make sure that I can use the hotspot on my iPhone to use my Note tablet in public. I know how to use to hotspot on the iPhone; I just wanted to see if it will work.

The same way you connect to any other Wifi network.

Look for the name of your iPhone in the Wifi list on the device you want to connect to it, and and select it, and provide the password.

On the iPhone follow the steps here to set it up:

Yes, any device that uses Wi-Fi can connect to the hotspot on an iPhone. I just ran a test and I can even connect with my Windows 7 laptop at work.
