I have a iPad and am using numbers in my mac and is stored in drop box. I want to open Mac numbers files in iPad numbers. I don't see anyway to look for files except in iCloud. if I open drop box and click on the file it opens a display only copy.
I have people using an IPad only that need to access the files. I want to keep all the files in one place in drop box.

When you view the file in dropbox, tap on the file action icon (upper right, looks like a box with an arrow point up). This will provide a list of apps the file can be sent to. Numbers should be included.

This worked as soon as I understood what you said. I opened it in drop box so I could view it and the up arrow icon showed. click on it and click on the App button and I can open with numbers. or what ever program opens it.
