I've got some important information in my iChat history that I need to save. However, I've been having problems with my iPad and the "Genius Bar" has told me I need to restore my iPad to the original settings. How do I save the chat sessions I have in my history? I don't see any options in iTunes during syncing.

You do mean you want to save your text messages, correct? iChat is a Mac app. You need a third party app if you want to save them in a format that you can read on the Mac.

Thanks, Demo. Yes, you are correct. I wanted to save my text from Messages on my iPad to my MacBook laptop. I downloaded the deciphertools.com program and it worked like a charm. 🙂
