re-purposed corporate Macbook Pro showing apps in updates from previous user even after a fresh install of Yosemite

I have a few macobook Pros in my corporate network. We have recently had an employee leave the company and I am in the process of re-purposing this macbook Pro.

After a drive erase .. and fresh install of Yosemite the app store still thinks OSX server 2.2.4 is installed and shows up as an update in the app store. Of coarse if you try to do the update it is not compatible with this version of OSX and asks for the previous users AppleID to install it.

How do I get rid of this, I cant understand why this app comes back after A fresh install, its VERY annoying and i have never seen this with any other Macbook

this is a macbook Retina mid 2012 2.6ghz i7 with 16gb ram

thanks

i sent a reply to LINC DAVIS but not even sure if I did that correctly. Hoping to get in touch with you to help me with an issue. Don't mind posting it thru this board but I am not sure how to do it without throwing all my business out there. Did you get my message? How would even know?

I am going to just stay posted on this question and wait for a response so maybe you can walk me through it.

And to NEAL860:

I am so sorry for busting into your post like this. I have no idea on how to contact Linc Davis another way. I know it's rude and i do so very much apologize. But I am desperate for help......as we all are. Again, my

sincere apologies.

Why don't you start your own post rather than 'busting' in on someone else? You're desperation should not interfere with others issues.

At the top of each page is what we call breadcrumbs;

User uploaded file

Those are clickable links that can lead backwards out of a forum to the list of available forums. Go to the Apple Support Communities level and choose the topic for your issue, whether an Apple device or an operating system or even an Apple app. Enter your chosen forum and start a new topic where you can explain your issue in detail and the solutions you've tried to solve your own problem.

there were no instances of the server app and I had NO external drives connected to the Machine .. and doing a grep off / as root found nothing. I have no desire at all to spend any more time on this, decided to just replace it with a surface pro 3 and that fixed my issue. I must say im not impressed with this product at all ..or these forums ..

thanks for all your insight
