no sound using bootcamp with windows 10 and yosemite

Hi,

I've just installed Windows 10 preview on my iMac Retina with Yosemite. Everything works great but, I have no sound when using windows, I do have sound when on Yosemite. I've looked and still haven't found a working solution, any help would be appreciated?

Thank you. Jerry

Hi,

I'm have the same problem again, once it updated to the new Windows 10 10049. Funny thing is, it didn't start right away, it took a few days for the sound problem to come back. There're no yellow exclamation points in device manager. I Reset the NVRAM and this time that didn't work. It's the same sound, doesn't seem to be every 2=3 seconds, more like 5-7 seconds, not sure that makes a difference. Anything else I can try? Everything else seems fine. The sound to me seems like it's a error message without the error showing.

Thanks, Jerry

I am having the same issue, but when attempting to reinstall the drivers as directed in the links you provided the installation gets stuck while installing Realtek audio (see screen shot below). I tried to manually install the drivers from the folder of drivers on the bootcamp files on the USB flash drive and the installation for the driver completes but the sound still doesn't work. I see the red light you mentioned in the audio jack and attempted to reset the NVRAM as well but the red light remains on as long as I am in the Windows and still no luck with the sound. Any suggestions? Thanks
