How do I transfer my apps from old PC to new one?

I bought a new desktop and have installed iTunes.

It seems to have transferrred my music over, but not apps? How do I do this?

HP Desktop-OTHER, Windows 8

Locate the ipa files on the old computer and manually move them to the new one; for applications available in the iTunes Store, you can also click here and follow the instructions.

Ideally you would copy over the entire iTunes library, otherwise you will be prompted to erase and reload the media. See Backup your iTunes for Windows library with SyncToy for a tool you can use to backup the library on the old computer, restore it to the new one, and then use to keep an up to date backup in future.
