Thief trying to unlock phone

My iphone5s has been stolen about a year ago, (I live in New Zealand)

and it seems like it has been sold on a black market, and now this indian dude from India is trying to hack my phone.

He's been calling me and tried to get my password off from me,

but all his effort went useless as I found him lying about depositing the cost.

Now I'm fully ignoring me, as I believe I won't get my phone back ever again, but he is insisting to log on my account,

and now I'm getting all these Applecare advisor sending emails about Verification code for identity verification.

Please tell me what I can do to stop him

Thank you

Should you ever decide to accept any payment ,this is how you handle your end once money is in your pocket 😉

I

Ask the new owner to erase all content and settings as described above.

If you're using iCloud and Find My iPhone on the device, you can erase the device remotely and remove it from your account by signing in to icloud.com/find, selecting the device, and clicking Erase. When the device has been erased, clicIf you no longer have your iOS devicek Remove from Account. After you erase the device, you'll need to wait 24 hours before you can activate iMessage on your new device. If you didn't follow the steps above before selling or giving away your iOS device:

If you're unable to complete either of the above steps, you should change your Apple ID password. Changing your password won't remove any personal information that is cached on the device, but it will make sure that the new owner can't delete your information from iCloud.

Deregister iMessage if you're switching to a non-Apple phone.

The thing is,

I told him to pay me NZ$500 to my bank account, so that I can get rid of this phone, and its win-win for both of us.

But he would give me fake 'photoshopped' screenshot of his bank transfer and I was like.. ***..

I told him, make a payment first, then call me or text me saying that he has made the payment, but nope. all he is trying to do is to get the phone removed from the account.

I have no intention of removing the phone away from my account anymore and will not make any deal with this guy.

But I just want to make sure that he doesn't break through my account.

I recently received this 'txt message' from a random non-apple number, saying that my lost phone has been found, and to check, I need to log in on my apple id. And thankfully, I wasn't stupid enough to go to the link on the message, but check my 'find my phone' app, and No, the phone was still lost.

I removed my personal data, and wiped out everything on that phone, so there is no personal info leaked from the phone. But the email address that I'm using for that phone, is also linked to my facebook, and most of my personal contacts. That is why it's bothering me
