My iPod 5 has stopped trusting my computer?

I went to go and put more music on to my iPod and iTunes does not recognise it even though my iPod and iTunes are up to date. I have restarted my computer and my iPod but still nothing. Every time I plug my iPod into the computer a message comes up on my iPod asking me if I want to trust this computer or not and I click trust each time. How do I fix this?

iPod touch, iOS 8.2

Hello, Joe.

Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.

I understand that you are repeatedly prompted to 'Trust This Computer.' I would recommend selecting Reset all dialog warnings in iTunes Advanced Preference. You can find the Advanced menu in iTunes for Windows in Edit > Preferences > Advanced. This menu is located in iTunes for Mac under iTunes > Preferences > Advanced. Once this is done, restart your computer, select 'Trust" and attempt the sync.
