Why when you can get Office for OS X?
because office works better in windows
You're going to use a Mac to run Windows so you can run Microsoft Office...?
Why not just use any number of better programs written for OS X? There are plenty to choose from. Some are free. You really don't need Microsoft's bloatware any more.
I already explained that office runs better on windows than osx, this is a fact not an opinion.
and microsoft doesn't come with bloatware, manufacturers install bloatware on computers.

You're thinking of PCs, not Macs.
Anyway, you seem committed to treat your Mac like a PC, so good luck with that.
I don't know what you're trying to say. Windows OS does not come with bloatware, it's the manufacturers like Dell and HP that put in the bloatware into the Os. If I were to bootcamp, the Os would be clean with no bloatware.
And like I said, I will mainly be using Osx but I need windows for office
You will need around 50 GBs for the Boot Camp partition for Windows. Another 30-50 GBs is needed for OS X. It's a very tight squeeze on 120 GB SSD.
50gb solely for the operating system?
Yes, at least
use a virtual machine rather then bootcamp if you are just going to be using office
vitualbox is free and installing windows in a virtual machine is much much much less hassel for most people
making a clean windows install on a computer is not for everybody
and bootcamp is a bit more work than that

I'm running a Windows 8.1 64bit Bootcamp with a 40GB Bootcamp partition and it works perfectly.
I have some small Apps from the Windows Store installed, as well as Anti Virus Software and Office 2013 ProPlus and I still have 12GB of free space on that partition.
The trick is to set the paging file (which windows uses as swap) to 512MB. You won't have any performance issues and still have more space on your drive.
I'm running Games and bigger Apps from my USB 3.0 external drive. And the only differences in comparison with running them on the internal one are a few more seconds of loading time.
If you have any more questions on how to do that, just ask 🙂

do you have personal experience with virtual box? is it good?
is this with a 128gb computer?
Yes it is. A MacBook Air from Early 2014 with 128GB SSD and 8GB of RAM.
