Does anyone bootcamp with 128gb and can share their experience?
I'm thinking about doing this, i will mainly use OSX. The only thing im gonna download in windows is microsoft office.
how much space left did you have for osx?
SImple subtraction: about 120GB - 40GB of Bootcamp partition = about 80GB remaining.
But if you really want to install Windows just for MS Office I'd also recommend using a Virtual Machine with Virtualbox or a similar VM-Software Instead of a Bootcamp partition. Then you can use Office WHILE working with other Software on OS X. With Bootcamp you can only have either OS X or Windows.
Thanks. I've considered it, but if i go virtual, I have to pay for both parallels and windows, and a machine that has 8gb ram, not worth it to me.
I might do it if virtualbox works perfectly since its free, will have to ask around.
