Upload movies over 15 mins
Hi, why can't I upload movies over 15 minutes to iCloud? I'm trying to do this to view a movie on my Apple TV, but I can't upload it. Is there a way around this? Thanks.

Greetings djenkins0119,
Sharing a movie to iCloud's iMovie Theater is indeed limited to movies less than 15 minutes in length. See this article -
iMovie (2013): Share to “iMovie” Theater
It is possible, however, to share your movie to iTunes on your computer, where it can be played using either Home Sharing through your Apple TV. This article explains how to move the movie to iTunes -

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
Be well,
Brett L
For that job I would burn a DVD using Apple's iDVD. With a single-sided DVD you can go 2 hours, a double-sided DVD, 3 hours, 45 minutes.
Blank DVDs cost about 15 cents.
