First change iteration Every Post had a tacky gold star as you illustrate in your screengrab of Kappy's - no marking of the new "Helpie/Likey" hybrid necessary. Clicking the 'apparently LIVE' tacky gold star ( ' javascript:void(0) ' on hover ) did nothing.

The gold stars were just a glitch it seems.

These are the March enhancements. See the link at the top of the page and this one from yesterday. Also it might be helpful to turn off your modifications foer a few days if that's possible.

The "modifications" were not the culprit in this case, amigo. After the late afternoon 'tweaks' and posting of the "Official Notices", they look and act pretty much as advertised. See...

There certainly was a period when *Everybody on Every Post* had the circus poster Gold Stars throughout ASC !!

Aloha CCC. You are correct the mods weren't the problem, but might be causing problems in other areas. I can't speak out of school on this one, it was just an idea I read somewhere.

I must be missing the subtleties in your comments, amigo... unless you mean that someone, elsewhere here in this august forum, suggested that the mods were the issue. Safe to say that our two friends mentioned earlier were not adopters of our customizations(?)

The thinking behind the recommendation was to make it easier to see where a glitch lies, the Forum changes or a possible incomparibility between the changes and previously made modifications, not specifially the ones made by rrcharles.

Amigo... the more you explain, the more confused I become. As Michael Palin said often on Monty Python's Flying Circus, "My bwain huhts!" - due to recent goings on at the "Home Front" - so my usual razor sharp mental processes are suffering. Do not give it another thought. AlohaBob! - ÇÇÇ

Perhaps you can help us with another point that we have been curious about in the New Helpie/Likey System... points awarded for accumulation of "This helped me" tally that has been stated but not quantified.

Did you mark with your twanger as the OP

Did the tally of (2) as indicated do the trick?

Sorry for the confusion. The recommendations were for a specific set of modifications and and the problem has been resolved. I made the mistake of taking recommendations for the specific and applying them to all modifications. If Robert is experiencing no problems other then normal glitches my advice is outdated and should be ignored.

Hopefully things improve on the home front.
