I was wondering if it were possible to add an additional field within iTunes that can be used for smart playlist searches and the like. I have found that there are a limited number of numeric fields available to add data into. Thanks in advance for the answers!

I am getting an error with your script when I import the data using import/export. I am getting error at line1386 saying that it cannot navigate to a certain link http://samsoft.org.uk/progbar.htm Any ideas how to fix?
It is error Code 800A01AD at line 1386 Char: 7 Not sure why it isn't working

Checking the code that URL is mentioned in line 1380 and is in a commented out statement so it shouldn't be called. The script should be trying to access a locally generated .htm file that it makes in the temp folder. Which version of the ExportImport script have you got? It should be version 1.0.0.6 dated March 28th 2015. The sections that control the progress bar shouldn't try to run at all if the current UAC settings would prevent it operating properly, but you can change the initialization from Prog=True to Prog=False (line 93) to suppress it altogether.

In fact checking more closely and testing here it doesn't look that particular script tries to use the progress bar in either import or export mode. 😕

So I was in fact using version 1.0.0.6. I changed that line of code, and the script worked perfectly. I used the script a few days prior and it worked just fine, so I am not sure what changed that would have caused it to stop working properly. Thanks for your help again!
A mystery, but as long as it is dong what you need it to now then I won't lose any sleep over it. 🙂
