Is there a way to configure an iPhone 6 Plus to not vibrate when it starts charging?

It only does that if the mute button is activated. So, it's either vibrating or hearing the "connect to charge" sound, sorry.

Turns out I have a flaky power cord, it was going from charging to not charging every time the cord changed angles. I seem to have this problem with a lot of these cords; I have gone through a bunch of them and don't think I am doing anything abusive to them. So now I am looking for a well built, durable USB to iPhone power cord.
If you buy a 3rd part USB cable, make sure it is approved by Apple. Since iOS8 the software will check the compatibility of the used accessory.
