My i-pod touch has no wi-fi on it! When my i-pod is connected to my computer, I am fine!!

What do yo mean by no wifi?
Connecting the iPod to your computer does not effect wifi since there is no internet connectivity via a USB connection.
All I know is that my i-pod says no wi-fi!! I am just trying to come full circle with the i-pod discussion. Whether is is a password that is not correct, or whatever it is I do not know!
Please help me find out.

Sounds like:
iOS: Wi-Fi or Bluetooth settings grayed out or dim
One user reported that placing the iPod in the freezer fixed the problem.
Also heating sometimes works. See:

A trick that works frequently with iPhones:
Settings > AirPlane Mode ON, Do Not Disturb ON
Power down and wait 5-10 minutes
Power up
Settings > AirPlane Mode OFF, Do Not Disturb OFF
If not successful, an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is usually in order.
