How do I download movies or series on my iPad mini. Or what app must I download to do that

I Am using a ad mini with 16Gig storage space. Currently using the OS 8.1. I am struggling to download movies and series on my iPad. I have tried to download movie downloader on my iPad,but I sti can't donl them directly on my iPad.

Where are you buying them from ? If the iTunes store then they will download into the built-in Videos app :

If a different store/site then does that site have its own app in your country's app store ?
