Apple Watch Band too small. Will there be a XL size?

As I looked through the options for the Apple Watch I was really pumped to get one. This was until I saw Apples band size chart. Immediately I realized that the band sizes would never fit my wrist. It is frustrating to think that Apple has alienated a whole group of customers because they decided not to make a XL Apple Watch Band. I guess my question to Apple is will there be a XL Apple Watch Band?

Its frustrating to think that I may not be able to pre order my device because of small bands.

I have tried to buy the Watch with the XL band online, by calling Apple and at a retail store (Meadowhall) without success. It seems that you have to buy the watch with the two smaller bands and then buy the XL as an accessory for an extra £39. Apple staff have been funny. Lots of suggestions to buy the smaller strap and then ebay it or call customer service and negotiate an exchange - for a premium brand product this is not what I expect.

I tried to buy the Watch on launch - none of the straps fit. Now one exists but I still can't buy it!!

I am 5'10" wrist size is 225mm - checking with work colleagues lots of people are in the XL size range.

If Apple reads this - please let me give you some more money.....

I have tried all the bands on at launch time - they are too small. I tried again yesterday in Sheffield when I saw the XL was available in the sport band. Apple have just replied I can buy it as a £39 accessory. You have to laugh at the audacity. I own two iMac's, 2 MBP's, a Macbook, two iPads and two iPhones and have been an Apple user for ten years - its nonsense to promote Apple as Green and suggest we buy a watch that doesn't fit and then pay £39 for an extra strap plus £128 for a formal strap if you want this also. This is a first generation short life product.

I can see we are not alone here - does Apple care - great products but arrogant.

Clearly I am out of luck. Operational profitability, one size fits all. I am 6'7" and I will no longer support companies that will not cater to my needs. I don't mind paying more for larger sizes like my current watch. 20 years ago I spent the few extra bucks to get the 4x mens band (10 1/4") thank you Eddie Bauer. I am putting Apple on my Operational profitability list below Walmart, Carhartt, Harley (Made in China or India) Davidson. It is amazing how hard it has become to find products made for Americans made in the USA. There a few Companies around the Seattle area that haven’t sold out to Operational profitability (Made in China) and produce true to size products.

I love Apple products. I am all Apple in my home. But Apple's arrogance is trying my patience and this will eventually bite them in the butt. Their limited selections in sizes, i.e., apple watch bands, or eliminating accessories on a number of products, i.e., removal of magsafe plug on laptops, or the vaporware on some offerings, i.e., BeatsX earbuds will at some point knock Apple off its high and mighty perch.
