Can you run iTunes 10.7 on OSX Yosemite?
Considering upgrading my Mac, but am really on concerned about being able to use iTunes 10.7 - any newer version is absolutely awful.
iPhone 4, Mac OS X (10.6.8), Black MacBook 2.2 Intel Core Duo

You can't.

watujim - If you have installed Yosemite on a computer with the newer iTunes with which it comes then clicking on the 10.7 installer won't install it. In that regard the simple answer is "No." However, sometimes if you are really wanting to do something outside of the box it is best to do a web search as responses here may be simplified. http://www.tonymacx86.com/customization/146852-install-itunes-10-back-yosemite.h tml "Good news for old-school guys: It's possible to install iTunes 10.7 back on Yosemite."... Realize this kind of reverting will not open a library which has been modified by a later version of iTunes, but if you haven't done that then you should be okay (I haven't tried this -- all I did was find the link with a web search).
One other thing. iTunes 10 on Yosemite will break "app store". You will not be able to download anything from apple's online store.
If that's no big loss to you it's your call.
