Battery drain on iOS 8.3. When I buy my brand new iPad Air 2 128 GB WiFi + Cellular I update iOS via Wi-Fi to iOS 8.3 And my battery draining very fast from 100% to 1% I think I can use my new iPad only 4 hours. But not 10 hours. About 10 hours I think I can only dream! And I turn off almost everything! Except WiFi and motion. (I set my brightness level to 100% because I like bright screen.) My old iPad 2 can working until now about 5 hours! But my new iPad Air 2 can't? Apple I hope you will fix that battery drain in the new iOS update. And my iPad Air 2 become very warm when I play a social online game Line Play, and my brightness level decreasing when my iPad Air 2 become warm. I know that a sign when iPad is to warm but it's not intensive game! I can't even watch more then 4+ hours my music videos. For whatever reason the drain happens at like 1% a minute on usage time. That's insane!! I also noticed it takes a lot longer to charge. Also gets extremely hot after 5 minutes of use. I did all the tips/suggestions and so on and nothing works!

Hello and I have iphone 5s, yesterday was updated on ios 8.3, no such nightmare phone can not withstand and one day, the battery is a nightmare before that I was with ios 8.0.2 and had no problems with battery life, and endured two days at least now can use one! When using the phone extremely heated, which until now did not happen at the same use !!! Apple has not taken any position on the question for them no problem! For me this is a company Inadmissibly their rank! Personally, I stop being angry, and the phone has already put up for sale! I tried everything and restore and off GPS, Back APP, and whatnot. Ultimately, why do I like this phone should I exclude everything ??? Just work is not serious for me!

The problem is solved !!!!!!!!!!!

I solve problems in the following steps:

1. I got out of icloud and itunes and app my account.

2. I made a backup in itunes.

3. Restore in itunes.

4. Restore from backup through itunes.

I've turned off the phone from the charger at 7:30 in the morning. Throughout the day, I used the internet in 3G. The time now is 17:00 phone is 53%, with guided discussions and Usage Time: 4h 1min, Stand by 9h 51min.

I think the problem is and comes from when you update over Wi-Fi at least as I read the comments the problem appears then.

Hi there! I am new to this discussion forum, so forgive me if I did this reply wrong.

So I after following a lot of the battery saving best practices listed in this forum and other sites, I was about to do the restore to a prior iOS version, and only got to the point where I had to turn OFF the Settings>iCloud>Find My iPhone and then I had to stop.

After turning off Find My iPhone I noticed a significant improvement in how long my iPhone battery lasted. This has been my workaround until we get a permanent fix.

I hope this helps all those who are having similar problems.

Thanks and Blessings!

Android never be better then iOS. And if your iPhone 5 restarts when it at 16% battery then you have a hardware problem, I think your battery is dead. Or your battery was defective. (Some tips: Use only original charger, don't play on your iPhone if your iPhone is very hot, charge your battery correctly.) And you should not update from iOS 6 to iOS 7 or 8. I think your problem is 100% hardware problem.

it's not hardware problem because if i shake phone then it will start charging.i phase this problem after installing ios 8.3 . and i use original charger. after installing volume down ( - ) key is not working after installing ios 8.3 . when i plug the charger charging sign is shown but percentage of battery remain same and if i shake phone then it will start charging.
