I have this problem too. I've already tried to replace Network definitions and had no luck. This is a serious issue because i have to pay for 3G/4G data usage! I've payed a loto for this iphone and i need this to be fixed asap!

Same! I've had problems ever since I downloaded the first installment of iOS 8 on my 2nd Generation iPad. I have had wifi issues ever since. I was hoping iOS 8.3 would finally fix my problems but it has not. I basically have to be within 5 feet of a standard home router, or be in a building with an extremely strong wifi network. I have tried everything! Reset network settings, disabled bluetooth, disabled location services, did a complete reinstall; none of it worked. My iPad has been WiFried for nearly 8 months now! Completely disappointed!

Looks like ios 8.3 failed to address Wifi problem completely. I am using iphone 4s, and rely more on wifi to save my phone bill. I have upgraded ios 8.3 only for 2 reason for better performance and wifi fixes which was mentioned in log. But I think wifi problem is still not 100% fixed. Something is still missing. it does not remain connected.

I am also having the same issue with the wifi. For some reason it keeps asking for my password in order to connect when I enable my wifi on the phone. I enter my password in for my wifi and sometimes it will take and most of the time it will not. I sit within 10 ft of the router. I have never had this problem until I upgraded to 8.3. Apple should pay for my data plan if I go over since their upgrade does not allow me to use wifi.

Uninstall the upgrade and go back to 8.1.3 if it's that problematic. The only problems I'm having are with TouchID on the App Store, and WiFi connectivity. One is a minor inconvenience but the other is pretty bad and needs to be addressed immediately by Apple. Both bugs are reported by NUMEROUS users - the problem you mentioned with crashing, predictive text, and SMS are the first I've heard of with the iOS 8.3 upgrade so far.

You can still downgrade to 8.2. Might be able to revert to previous version if the ideas below don't work.

See here for your device.

Re-boot ipad.

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until a red slider appears, then drag the slider. Then press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears. page 128 iPad user manual.

force power down if the above give you trouble.

Hold down both the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button. Ten seconds or more. Hold until the Apple logo appears.

Restore to factory settings by loading the latest version of ios that your machine will support:

Do a full backup of your device. Twice is best -- cloud and computer.

"You can use iTunes to restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to factory settings and the latest version of iOS."

"You can put your iOS device into recovery mode, then restore it using iTunes.:

At last resort you could consider DFU (Device Firmware Update). This could void your warranty.

I also have frequent wifi disconnections (on both iPhone and iPad) since I upgraded to 8.3 ... It's generally very short, the devices are switching to 4G and a few seconds later back to wifi. No idea why this happens now. Will do a reset (network and/or all settings) later today and see if anything improves.

IOS 8.3 has not fixed my ongoing wifi problem. I know it is not the router as other non iOS devices are working fine on wifi. Both my iPad Air 2 and iPhone 6 keep losing connection with wifi. Apple are clearly aware there is a problem and still not yet been able to fix it. the whole point of an iPad is its internet capability. Clearly this problem renders the product very ineffective and frustrating. My original iPad on an old iOS version still works fine on wifi which proves something is up with the software.
