iMessage not working iOS 8.3

Hey-the Apple help desk MAY have told you they aren't aware of any "issues" but they have indeed known of the MANY problems with iMessage. More than 6 weeks ago I spent more than 3 hours on the phone with two of their CS reps-I was told then 'that "the engineers were working on a solution". Some may have had problems caused by the Arabic email;however, far more are continuing to experience problems with iMessage that is caused by a bug in the 8.3 update. I tried everything mentioned on these forums to no avail. Not installing any more "updates" until I know they're free of bugs.The 8.4 that's out now doesn't mention the iMessage issue. Wonder why..

Did you ever get your phone working?

Mine's doing the same. It's so frustrating.

Here's my ritual:

...oh my phone's almost dead no!!!

I check and send off one last message before it power drives the battery from 28% to 1% ( note 1% is the biggest % of them all )

in 10 minutes.

I get home and plug phone into charger

-------90% later--------

multiple new text messages show in the notification bar

the #'s have no contacts

I press the home button.

I tap messages app

The white screen of fury emerges

The message screen stares at me.

White

And it begins. The phone starts to heat up.

We have a stare off as the phone becomes hotter and hotter.

I phone hangs when I try to close the app with a double tap - swipe up.

When finally, the compose a new message screen appears. ➖

Tapping cancel brings me to the messages "list" page ➖

There are no contacts or previous conversions.

I've done all the "tricks" but have yielded at the full reset.

When I try to turn on iMessage the slide button springs back into off position!
