Hello. My trackpad is extremely choppy after upgrading to 10.10.3. The cursor skips all over the place, make the computer almost not useable. Anyone else see this issue? The older Apple Mouse seems to work much better. Thanks.

I just got off the phone with Applecare and he suggested deleted the trackpad from the bluetooth preferences, then putting in fresh batteries and holding down the power button until the green light flashes a few times. Then re-pair the trackpad.
It's been working for me for the past 15 minutes so lets hope this is the fix!

The guys there came up with a couple suggestions regarding disabling the Bluetooth DUN and PAN.
I was having the problem again this morning after upgrading my machine to 10.10.3 and was just about to try one of these suggestions but the problem cleared itself up again.
I'm having a similar problem with a brand new MBPr. I still have the previous MBPr and Magic TrackPad works normally there, but on the new one it doesn't connect automatically, then when I connect, it keeps dropping connection for about a minute until eventually connection is stable, but it's annoying in the extreme. I'm reluctant to reset SMC or such and it should not be necessary on a brand new machine.
its crazy that apple has such silly bug in their OS X..
its definitely OS X problem. as we all have the same problem from different type of mac products. iMac, Macbook and other devices.
HOPE APPLE CAN FIX IT SOOOOOON.... really annoying bug...
I'm having same problem. A temporary fix seems to be:
open Trackpad in System Preferences. Go to Scroll & Zoom panel. Then toggle the Scroll direction: natural setting OFF/ON by unchecking/checking the box.
Add me to the list of people with this issue. Never had a problem until after latest update. TrackPad works fine in safe mode. Tried deleting and re-pairing. Tried fresh batteries. Still have found no solution. Seems to only occur after opening a browser (Safari/Chrome).
I am EXTREMELY disappointed in Apple right now. My $2500.00 computer is unusable. Beginning to wonder why I gave up Windows (which by the way works perfectly via bootcamp).
Exactly, I am forced to use Firefox now...
So my issue returned yesterday. I booked a Genius appointment for Saturday so we'll see if swapping out the trackpad will solve my issue.
*UPDATE*
After the latest update (10.10.3) released today (in reference to fixing an issue with unresponsiveness when displaying large JPEG's) my computer now appears to be working properly. It is important to note however, that I also updated DIVX just prior to the apple update so that may also have been an issue (I'd assume with the DIVX plugin).
In any case, here's hoping that the problem is behind me. I am keeping my fingers crossed.
I don't think that would help, I had this issue when I was using magic mouse, then I tried and paired with a BRAND NEW track pad, it's till choppy, the cursor jumps like crazy.
is another finger or your palm on the trackpad?
So far so good for me too after 10.10.3 but I didn't have a DIVX plugin. Fingers crossed.
I can also confirm that the latest 10.10.3 has resolved my issue.
They released two supplemental updates for 10.10.3 after a length beta test period. Where's the quality control these days? My iMac was almost unusable for two weeks.
Aaaand my issue is back. This is so annoying. Glad I didn't cancel my genius appointment yet.
