I have the same model Mac as you do. It supports using either an ISO or a physical DVD and a USB, to create a USB Installer, which will contain the Windows files and BC drivers. If you are running into an issue with downloading Windows Support Software from Apple servers, it does not indicate any issues with your ISO or DVD, but the part where BC Assistant connects to Apple Servers.

1. Are you using a wired connection? Wireless connections are slower and can cause problems.

2. Can you run the following commands from OS X Terminal and post the output? These look for any entries in these two files which may be invalid.

grep apple.com /etc/hosts

grep apple.com /private/etc/hosts

Yes, I'm using Wi-Fi, but the 2 times I installed before I use the same Wi-Fi and I didn't have problem.. and I'm sure that my Wi-Fi is working correctly..but.. could be this?

I don't have a wired connection.. I will try with someone who has a wired connection, maybe work..

I ran the commands but does not any result, just this:

The software is on Apple CDN (Content Data Network). Users outside the US run into many issues downloading this software. There is a workaround, but it does not work in all cases.

From System requirements to install Windows on your Mac via Boot Camp - Apple Support, you can download the BC drivers appropriate for your Mac. Any entry which has BCA, is not publicly available.

You can then create a DMG file using Disk Utility from the USB where you download the .zip, and copy it to

/Library/Application\ Support/Bootcamp directory and then try BCA again.

I read in System requirements that I need BootCamp 5 to install Windows (if I understood correctly)..

Right now I have bootcamp 4.0.4 so, how can I do to upgrade mi BootCamp?.. because in apple support I can download the BC support software but it's to run in windows, it's no the upgrade of BC that I need..

So, where or how can I do to have BootCamp 5 ?

I can't find the upgrade to bootcamp 5.. 😕

I think that this maybe can help me..

Your version of BC Assistant is tied to you version of OS X.

From Boot Camp 5.1: Frequently asked questions - Apple Support,

Which versions of Windows work with Boot Camp 5.1?

Boot Camp 5.1 supports 64-bit, non-Enterprise versions of Windows 7, Windows 8.0, and Windows 8.1. This version of Boot Camp doesn't support Windows XP, Windows Vista, or any 32-bit version of Windows. Depending on your Mac, you may be able to use an earlier version of Boot Camp to work with other versions of Windows. For details, see the Boot Camp system requirements for Microsoft Windows.
