WiFi Sync Looking For iPod

Hello, I have a 4th gen iPod touch running iOS 6.1.6 (Up to date) and iTunes running on a Windows 7 Home Premium x64. When I plug my iPod in I get "USB Device not recognized" message from windows, I have tried every USB port on my computer (USB 2.0 and 3.0). I decided to try to sync over WiFi (it is already enabled). I unlocked the iPod and opened iTunes and my iPod was listed under devices so I selected it and chose Sync. The display at the top of iTunes said "Looking for iPod" for about a minute then the iPod disappeared from my Devices list and Now will not reappear (it is still unlocked). I can ping my iPod from Command Prompt. I tried restarting the iPod as well as restarting iTunes and Windows. In the iTunes WiFi sync menu on the iPod it says "Sync will resume when Brad-PC is available. Last Sync: Friday, March 20, 2015 at 5:49 PM" So I know it used to work, Any thoughts on what could be preventing this from working now? I just purchased some new songs and would like to put them on my iPod.

Thanks

-Brad

Try:the following to get iTunes to see the iPOd. Seems you have a problem with the computer/iTunes

See

iPhone, iPad, or iPod not recognized in iTunes for Windows

- I would start with

Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP

or

Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8

However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components

- Then do the other actions of:

iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows

paying special attention to item #5

- New cable and different USB port

- Run this and see if the results help with determine the cause
