Since installing the new OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 to iMac and ISO 8.3 to iPhone 5s and iPad3, not all of my photo albums and photos in various albums are syncing..... any hints?? I also installed the latest iTunes 12.1.2.27 too ! I have rebooted all devices too....

There is no such thing as a "Photos" app. I have some lame, useless thing called "Photo Booth", but your recommendations do not seem to apply.
How **** do I get my iPhone to sync and download photos to my iMac? Is that such an unreasonable question?

The Photos app was introduced almost a year ago when OS X 10.10.2 (Yosemite) was released. The current OS X version is 10.11.1 (El Capitan).
I am having the same issues as many of you, all apple products, but not all of my pictures from my iphone will sync to photos on my Mac. Everything is set to icloud photo library. Even if I connect the phone to the Mac and try to sync it does not show all of the photos and shows nothing new to import. ???? Extremely frustrating. 😠
