Hi,
When I plug in my iPhone, Photos does what iPhoto used to do : it tells you what photos are already imported and what are the new photos.
Only problem is : there is a bug. It shows in new photos, some that are already imported (and displayed as such).
Any idea ?

I discovered the same bug using my camera. I do not use an iPhone and I did not know the same problem exist on them as well.
The import creates an infinity import loop and this will duplicate images and videos on your Mac thereby eating up valuable HD space.
I have reported this bug and I suggest you also report the bug to Apple, the more people report, the better attention Apple will give to this problem and come up with a patch.
