Disk Utility has several repair types
- Permissions repair (which is the one that creates the output that can be safely ignored).
- Filesystem repair (which may be the one you ran).
The second one is a concern when it finds errors, especially if it cannot repair them.
NOTE: Tools like TechTool Pro can actually create these errors if the tool was not designed for this OS version, be careful before you run every tool that it has - ensure it is up to date for the OS!
Run the repair in recovery mode to be sure the OS is not damaged & reporting the errors incorrectly.

I don't know what your apparent file corruption issue is, but that sounds like bad news - files shouldn't display random 'pixel noise errors', but that may be for many other reasons (like badly installed, misconfigured software or incompatible apps, damaged caches…).
I would suggest you make a full bootable backup of this disk in case it is failing - hardware does not last forever. I would also look for evidence of crashes. Etrecheck is an easy way to get an overview, it will list crash logs if you have recent ones.
http://etresoft.com/etrecheck Post the full report if you think there is a lot you don't understand.
Otherwise you can look at Console for the logs (inside Applications/Utilities/) but that is complex & posting the logs here can just confuse the issue (unless prompted to do so).
Ask if you need advice on how to backup - it is the only way to limit data loss on a failing disk.
