Always love the guy who picks the $10,000 price tag and compares it to a $150 Fitbit.
The fact that your wife's watch died in 5 hours is because you didn't charge it. My wife gets 1.5 days and uses the crud out of her watch.
And I like your comment that a "Fitbit" does "most of your common activity tasks"
Does it text? Does it show you pictures? Notifications? Act as a phone? Have maps? Have siri? Have 3000 apps released for it in one month? Activate NFC payments? etc, etc, etc? Literally I could add 50 to 100 more things a $150 fitbit doesn't do. Why don't you mention the $250 Fitbit surge, since it adds a "couple" extra features? Or is that getting too close to the $350 Apple watch?
Just admit you can't afford it and move on. Anybody who has a wife who has to work night shift isn't doing very well in the game of life IMO.
When Fitbit goes out of business like Pebble is about to do, then come back and tell me how awesome it is.
