Apple Watch Shipping Notices

Just curious if anyone has received a shipping notice yet for their Apple Watch If they were lucky enough to get an early delivery date (24th). I know if is probably a bit early but worth asking.

thanks

I got my order on on 4/10 at 12:03 PST - at least that is the time on the email from Apple acknowledging the pre-order. And no, as of this evening my status has not changed from Processing Your Order to Preparing for Shipment.

I sincerely doubt if anyone will see that update until at the earliest next week. And even if they do ship, Apple's policy in the past for new releases is that the shipping company does not deliver before the release date. (Now I am sure that there are some stories about a mistaken early delivery - or perhaps a hefty tip to the UPS or FEDEX driver......)

I ordered a 42mm aluminum space gray at 3:04am EST and my conformation says Delivers 4/24-5/8 and it still says items processing, for the last week I was checking the status about three times a day and about every hour over the weekend, I'm going to assume that those who are getting the first shipment should be receiving their notifications by the 21st.

MMy order was at 3:16 am ESt I was a little sleepy and confused but I did manage to think about getting the less desirable model and color knowing that I can change bands and thinking when I get it I can just go to the Apple store and exchange it. Cause surely there will be a huge stock like the iPad when it first came out. Boy was I wrong. And I'm glad that I had the hunch of doing a preorder this time. I always go stand in line. And then I managed to think about getting up and doing it as soon as it opened up. Had no idea that there would be a wait if I would have done it later in the morning. So I got a shipping date of 4/24 -5/8. Still processing. I check about 10 times a day. This is both exciting and frustrating at the same time. I love launch days but this one has been annoying. Such a long wait. If Steve jobs were still with us he would have waited until he knew for sure theN released info and if you noticed he never made us wait more than 2 weeks. Cook made us wait more than a month and then screwed up the release date. Smh.

Im checking quite often as well...I saw on another post that you can check you credit card that you used to order. they take the money out a few days before they ship so thats something else to have hope for if the status hasn't changed...it will be awesome once the status does change and we get a little more info....Well maybe most of us will get an update in about 30-45 mins or so..if not, sometime today.

No updates yet but here is an article I just saw..im refreshing every 10 mins to read articles to see whats going on!! i am truly an "Apple Junkie". While this is only theory, it is a good theory. Apple ALLEGEDLY could be creating watches to-go. Meaning they are making the models as they are ordered to keep production cost low in order to avoid overstocking. Its a good idea because the market is so new and they do not have any data to go off of. So how do they produce 38 models of this watch and have no way to come close to which models they need to produce? They can't until they get pre-orders. thats why they wont have any in the store friday.
