Apple Watch Shipping Notices

Just curious if anyone has received a shipping notice yet for their Apple Watch If they were lucky enough to get an early delivery date (24th). I know if is probably a bit early but worth asking.

thanks

Just got the app saying the same for me. I did the math so if 972,000 orders were placed on day one and shipping times got delayed after just 30 mins then we have to divide 972,000 by 24 hours which means 40,500 orders were placed every hour. now if we divide 40,500 by 60 mins that would mean 675 orders placed every min so that would mean by the time you ordered only 2,025 orders had been placed on average....so you should be in the first batch depending on your model. People WILL get the watch on the 24th if they pre-ordered so you should be ok for the 24th. Me it took 16 mins to order...so there were roughly 10,800 orders placed. after 30 mins the shipping times went up so that would be around 20,250..so I would imagine that I would fall into the first batch. I can see Apple shipping about 20K in the first batch or maybe up to 100K just based on the average numbers that i got from the internet and doing my own simple calculations. just guessing.

I got sport blue one because I was still sleepy and was rushing to get my order in quick...and I didnt see the scroll button to scroll over..but I would have got the space gray or space black. 2 I didnt change because I thought it would slow my order and I thought I could just go exchange it in the store after the lines died down on launch day..glad I pre ordered.

Order confirmation was sent to me at 3:08am EST, so I too hope I am in the first batch!

Last week was easy; I checked my order status maybe once a day, but now I am just being an obsessive checker!

My deliveries app ALSO says May 8th.... 18 days from now! That seems crazy to think about, but I too think that is just because it is the latest date. If I was running apple, I wouldn't want to get thousands of customers enraged if I said delivery date of April 24th but it ended up being the 25th or even the 8th of May. They seem to be playing this awfully safe. I don't blame them!

In my own personal experience, apple tends to UNDER promise and OVER deliver with these delivery times. I remember I ordered my gold 6+ 125GB in a Verizon store the morning of the pre-order, and they said SIX WEEKS until delivery. Well, I was so surprised when less than 2 weeks later I received my delivery. Pretty awesome, although I obviously cannot promise this is what apple will be doing with the watch.

I'll be refreshing hourly and updating the thread if I get a ship notice!
