Apple Watch Shipping Notices

I Ordered 38mm space grey sport with black band. I spoke with apple customer service this morning and all they could tell me was that they are working hard To fulfill my order. I asked why my brother has a may/June ship date, yet he's already received a shipping notice For the exact same model... I told him this looks very bad since I had my order in by 12:03 with a 4/24-5/8 shipping date and it hasnt budged from processing.. We live in the same house so why would he get his first? I made sure to ask about that and he says there is nothing i can tell you about why this is happening. Im so beyond frustrated and mad. I expressed to the customer service rep that leaving customers in the dark is not a good way to handle things. Basically all i got were excuses about were trying hard. Any info about the order is better than not knowing at all. I can say this has been a pretty terrible pre order experience. Be sure to take those surveys to let them know how terrible this process is.

Oh now...That's just crazy talk. I just got my first MacAir last December and I LOVE it! I'm sorry for everyone's disappointment though. I know the feeling. I waited probably 2 months after launch day for my iPhone 6+. Every day was painful...so painful...and when it finally arrived it was all better!!

I must say UPS is going to give me a mini-heart attack today. My tracking status keeps changing with the wind. One moment it is on a truck for delivery today and then I check about 30 minutes later and it says Destination Scan which means it is sitting in a local UPS office. I chatted with UPS and they said their end is showing on truck for delivery. Makes me nervous when the systems don't talk to each other right.

The fiance is a little upset he can't just walk into a store today. It is only mildly upset because he wanted to play with mine before he got his so didn't pre-order but every single other launch he just walked into either the UWS Apple or 5th Ave Apple asked what they had in stock and pick from that. Iphone 6, Ipad Air, Mac Air all of it. This time he can't do that for awhile so we will see if he ends up getting one a few months down the road or skips it over. He is very much an instant gratification buyer.

MY watch was just delivered. I haven't seen it yet as I am not home. My husband signed for it.

I got an email to sign up for a video appt to learn how to set up and use my watch. I signed up; like I'm not going to try to figure it out on my own between now and my appt time. However, if I have questions I can ask them then I suppose. Seems like a good plan to keep the stores from being flooded with folks needing help though.

oooh, don't let him open it. Opening the box is the best part. LOL
