Just curious if anyone has received a shipping notice yet for their Apple Watch If they were lucky enough to get an early delivery date (24th). I know if is probably a bit early but worth asking.

Jsuchi is probably right. I bet Apple makes no statement, no apology, no updates. As far they're concerned, we should be happy to get our watches BY 5/8. Otherwise, it raking in the $ as usual for them. This will not even be a blip on their screen.
Let's all update this post if anyone sees movement on the MIA 42 mm SS w/ BSB. I'd be surprised if anyone gets progression in order status until at least Tuesday. Hopefully, I'm wrong.
I Think they will be shipping them out each day.... Or let's hope that's the case.
Very well said bm3088. I wish there was a realistic alternative and I'd buy that and post on every board in every tech forum I could find just to take a few $ from this company. As you said, Mr. Jobs had it right...Tim is no Steve. BTW...how many people here just had to have this watch because Beyoncé, JJ, Lagerfeld, or the other celebs who had it? I bet zero. Hating the post-Job's Apple culture right now.
The only way we could get something is if we got something trending #whereismywatch lol

I bet there are thousands of dissatisfied people like us wondering what happened and why they bothered to get up to preorder.
I agree as well, if the problem is the band, they could have given us the option of taking a different band. Of course, if the problem is that they are simply going by SKU and the 42 mm SS Apple Watch with BSB is the last on the list, then it wouldn't have mattered. The best they could have done was either start earlier or simply let us know that we are at the end of the queue.
As far as if Steve Job had been there, I seem to recall a couple of similar type issues under Jobs.
I also expect that Apple won't say anything unless somehow the national media picks up on the story and it become a big deal rather than something to be swept under the rug.
I do wonder a bit if bringing in all the outsiders as top level execs has caused a culture change for the worse. I've seen it happen at a number of big companies. Long time CEO retires/leaves, the heir apparent gets the job and then brings in a group of outsiders to provide "a fresh view" and you get a quickly lose that mind set that makes the company special.
I ordered the same watch but nothing. Still processing. Ordered at 3:03 ET. hope it comes soon. Fingers crossed

Its got to be said its a right mess up this aint it, if they should have just let me queue outside the store like old days i would have been there tuesday/Wednesday but no they had to do this a make 1000's of people miles behind me in the queue get there watch first n f'd me right over, made me feel like the watch isn't gonna feel the same on me now its not here on my wrist on day ne like it would have been if it was inshore n if it ever does finally get here.
Lets just put it right tho no one in the world has received there SPACE GRAY 42mm watch today have they???
