i had saw loner solved some similar issues who have lost their boot camp after Yosemite update, but my issue is different. i had thee partitions in windows one mac as usual, one boot camp and one i made in windows by shrinking the boot camp partition. but after the Yosemite update i lost the partition which i have made. both mac and windows working perfectly. requesting your suporti&#x27;am using mac book pro

Please post the output of sudo dd if&#x3D;/dev/rdisk0s4 count&#x3D;1 2&gt;/dev/null | hexdump -CStandard BC does not allow more than 4 MBR entries. If you had additional partitions, the Yosemite upgrade may cause you to lose data.

The partition on the Windows side was not reflected in the MBR, which had the entries before the upgrade as shown currently. Yosemite will not handle such partitioning. It is unlikely you can recover it. What does Windows Disk Management show?

Windows disk management also does not see it. Do you have a backup of the partition?
